Uninstalling an Enterprise Connector host

To uninstall the Enterprise Connector from a host, run this command:

java –jar <installation folder>/uninstall/uninstall.jar

After running this command at the last host, you have uninstalled the Enterprise Connector.

On windows, the uninstall may fail if there are still files that are locked by other processes. This is usually caused by users who still have the Enterprise Connector Management UI open in a browser.

Ensure the user who performs the uninstallation has sufficient rights on the installation folders of the Enterprise Connector. Run lusrmgr.msc and select Local Users and Groups > Groups. Then open the "ionec_<ec installation folder>" group and add the user who performs the uninstallation.

After the uninstallation, you can delete the database that was used by this Enterprise Connector installation and the Corretto JDK. Do not delete this database or JDK if it is still used by other processes.
