Modeling role-based access

You can specify a level of access to specific users.
  1. Log on to the IFS application
    Ensure that an IFS security role exists corresponding to the role of the user whose access you want to control.

    Ensure that you added all the users in IFS, who want to access ION.

    Ensure that appropriate IFS security roles are attached to the users.

  2. Log on to the ION application.
  3. Examine if the standard ION profiles provided out of the box are sufficient to access. If not create new ION profiles with a set of permissions you prefer.
  4. Attach the concerned IFS security role to your ION profile.
