Additional metadata

After clicking NEXT in the Property Definitions page you can define the additional metadata.

  1. Specify the required information.
    1. For JSON and DSV objects, specify this information:
      Identifier Paths
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select from the list one or more properties that make up the unique identifier for your data object.
      Variation Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select from the list which property contains the variation number for your data object.
      Timestamp Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select from the list which property contains the update timestamp for your data object.
      Delete Indicator Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select from the list which property is used as the delete indicator.
      Delete Indicator Value
      Specify the value to indicate the object is marked as deleted.

      This field is required when a Delete Indicator Path is selected. When Delete Indicator Path is blank, this field is hidden.

      Archive Indicator Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select from the list which property is used as the archive indicator.
      Archive Indicator Value
      Specify the value to indicate the object has been archived in the source application.

      This field is required if an Archive Indicator Path is selected. If Archive Indicator Path is blank, this field is hidden.

      Additional Properties
      Specify any other information to include with your object schema. An upload option is available to select a file, or you can click inside the text area to manually add text. Valid JSON must be provided.

    2. For BODs, specify this information:
      Identifier Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select the property that contains the unique identifier for your data object. This field is required.
      Accounting Entity Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select the property that contains the accounting entity for the data object.
      Location Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select the property that contains the physical location associated with the data object.
      Status Path
      Click the icon inside the field to launch the lookup widget. Select the property that contains the status code for the data object.
      Supported Verbs
      Select the verbs that should be supported by the BOD. By default, Acknowledge, Process, and Sync are already selected. These selections can be changed as necessary.

      At least one verb must be selected before advancing to the next step in the wizard.

  2. Click NEXT, to review the generated schema and additional metadata properties.

    If any edits are required, click PREVIOUS to return to any of the previous pages to make changes. Alternatively, click the page title in the "tick" widget at the top of the wizard.

  3. Click FINISH to save the new schema.

    A validation check is performed. If any errors occur, a message is displayed. All errors must be solved before the schema can be saved.

    If all validation rules are met, the wizard closes. The Object Schemas page reloads with your new object that is listed first.
