Elastic Search is missing or not installed correctly after an installation

If Elasticsearch is missing or not installed correctly after installing Infor LTR, you can complete these steps to reinstall it:
  1. Stop the Elasticsearch service.
    1. Go to the Windows Services application.
    2. Find Elasticsearch in the list.
    3. Click Stop Service.
  2. Go to the folder where the Elasticsearch content folder was created.
  3. Rename the folder so it does not affect the reinstallation process.
    Note: Elasticsearch reconfiguration is not available in the 2026.06 LTR release.
  4. Stop the Search Windows service.
  5. Go back to Infor LTR Manager.
  6. Start the Search Windows service.
  7. Go to Advanced Features.
  8. Click Update ES YML file.
  9. Go to the Windows Services application.
  10. Find ION API Service in the list.
  11. Right click ION API Service and select Restart.
  12. Find IONAPI Metadata Indexing Service in the list.
  13. Right click IONAPI Metadata Indexing Service and select Restart.
