Elastic Search is missing or not installed correctly after an installation

If Elastic Search is missing or not installed correctly after installing Infor LTR, you can complete these steps to reinstall it:

  1. Stop the Elastic Search Service.
    1. Go to the Windows Services application.
    2. Find Elastic Search in the list.
    3. Click Stop Service.
  2. Go to the folder where the Elastic Search Content folder was created.
  3. Rename the folder so it does not affect the reinstallation process.
  4. Start Infor LTR Manager in advanced mode.

  5. Go to Advanced Features.
  6. Click Reconfigure Elastic Search Service.
  7. Click OK.
  8. Stop the Search Windows service.
  9. Go back to Infor LTR Manager.
  10. Start the Search Windows service.
  11. Go to Advanced Features.
  12. Click Update ES YML file.
  13. Go to the Windows Services application.
  14. Find ION API Service in the list.
  15. Right click ION API Service and select Restart.
  16. Find IONAPI Metadata Indexing Service in the list.
  17. Right click IONAPI Metadata Indexing Service and select Restart.
