Importing templates

Use this feature to import a template from one system to another. To import a template, you must have permission to create new templates.

Click Import to start the import process. A file browser is displayed from which you can select the file to import. After you select the file, a message is displayed confirming whether you want to include any template users and attachments in the import process. Click Import to finish the import process.

If a user who is assigned as the template owner in the import file does not exist in the target system, the current user who is importing becomes the template owner for that template. A dialog of your import results is displayed, and the imported template is added to the templates list view.
