Changing a listener

A listener can be changed, also if it is active. When, changing without deactivating you avoid losing messages that meet both the old and the new settings.

To change a listener:

In ION Desk select Connect > Message Listeners.
A list of existing listeners is displayed.
Select the listener to be changed and click Details.
Change one or more details.
When the listener is active, you cannot change its name or tenant.
Save the listener and click Back to return to the list.
If the listener was active, click Activate to start using the changed configuration in the ION Service.
As long as the listener is changed but not activated again, the changes do not take effect. The Changed check box is selected on the Listeners page to indicate that a listener has changes that are not activated yet.
