The available settings for ION Connect in the Properties tab and their description are listed in this table:

E-mail Settings | SMTP Host | The address of the SMTP host that is used for sending emails from
ION. Emails are sent by the error reporting feature; see Exception handling. If you use Activities, then emails can also be sent for tasks, alerts, and notifications. The default value is specified during the ION installation. |
Port | The mail server port for sending emails. The default value is 25. | |
Username |
This is the username for the account at the mail host for sending emails. This field is relevant when sending emails that are based on username and
password authentication. If a username is specified then the SMTP
server is requested to use this credential when sending an email.
Internally a secure connection is made by enabling the java mail
property The default is blank. |

Password |
The password for the account at the mail host for sending emails. The value in this field is considered by ION only if a username is specified. Otherwise it is ignored and no authentication is used. |

From Address | The sender email address to be used for sending emails from ION. If a username is specified, then this field is required and its value must match the actual email address of the specified username. The default value is specified during the ION installation. | |
BOD Storage Engine | BOD Storage en- abled | If this option is enabled, then all messages that are processed by ION are stored and their content can be viewed from ION OneView. The default value is False. |
Adapter Defaults | Default Log Level | The default log level that is used for newly activated
connection points. For details on logging and log levels, see Logging settings. |
Activities engine | Polling Interval | The interval, in seconds, between two checks for escalations, reminders or delegations. If this interval is smaller, then escalations, reminders and delegations are identified earlier. If this interval is larger, then the load is reduced on the system. |
Send E-mail | This property indicates whether emails must be sent, for example if a task or alert is created. | |
Auto Assign Activities | This property indicates whether alerts and tasks are
automatically assigned to the user if there is only one user in the
distribution list. The default value is False. When this property is set to True an email is sent to the user, for the assignment event. |

No Assignment if Out of Office | This property indicates that Infor Ming.le users cannot assign a task or alert to a user who uses the Out of office reply. Switch this property on, to avoid assigning items to a user who is out of the office. Switch this property off, to allow assigning items to a user who is out of the office. The user can handle the item on return. The default status is False. | |
Restrict Out of Office Feature in Inbox | This property indicates whether the Out of Office
configuration page is available in Infor MingleOOO-Enabled can use the
Out of Office UI. They can define delegation rules and turn the out of
office status to ON or OFF. If you clear the check box, then all users
can use the Out of Office delegation functionality. |

Event Management engine | Logging triggers | The switch to log triggers data. The property flag enables or disables logging triggers data. The setting can be True or False. If the Logging triggers is set to False, then logging of triggers is disabled. A notification is displayed above the triggers list on the Show Triggers page. |
