Tasks with Landmark forms

When the integration with Infor Process Automation is enabled for Inbox, tasks that display a Landmark custom form in the details pane are created.

You must take actions in the application form to close the tasks. Read more details about Infor Process Automation (IPA) in the Infor Process Automation Integration Guide.

The IPA-Inbox integration is implemented as follows:

IPA creates a task in Inbox for each IPA Work Item and passes on information about the Landmark form to be used for this task.
Tasks displayed in Inbox show the external link icon when shown in the list view. When you open the details, the Landmark form is loaded inside the task details pane.
When you take an action in the form, this action is handled in the Landmark application and then by IPA.
When you take an action to close the task, IPA calls an ION Pulse engine API to close the task in Inbox.

When working with tasks with Landmark forms in Inbox, you can:

Assign a task to yourself. The task is not visible to other Inbox users.
Access the task details from a push mobile notification in Infor Go. In this case, the Landmark form is loaded directly to Inbox within Infor Go.
To close the task, you must use the form functionality.
