Loading more messages in advanced mode

When you open the Inbox application, a maximum of 200 messages of each type (alert, task, notification) are loaded for you.

If you have more messages in the backlog, you can load these if you are authorized to the INBOX-PowerUser security role. Security roles are assigned to users by administrators from the Infor Ming.le User Management menu. If you have the INBOX-PowerUser role, this message is displayed in the About dialog: Your user permissions enable Infor Inbox in advanced mode.

In Inbox advanced mode, you can access a maximum of 10,000 messages of all types (alerts, tasks, notifications).

When you have more than 200 alerts, tasks, or notifications, a Load more option is shown at the bottom of the list views, next to the total count of messages. Click it to load the next 200 alerts, tasks, and notifications. Messages are loaded from the backlog according to the Items Load Order setting. The Load more option is shown in all lists (All, Alerts, Tasks, Notifications) and has the same effect when clicked in any of the lists. This option remains enabled in all lists until all messages of all types are loaded.

While the total number of messages in your list is fewer than 10,000, any new messages received are automatically added to the list, up to the 10,000 limit.

The search, filter, and sort features from the Inbox list views are applied to the messages that are already loaded in Inbox. When new messages are received, they are displayed in the list only if they fulfill the current filter conditions.

If you have more than 10,000 messages, you must close some messages before you can load more.

Bulk actions are applied to 200 messages at a time. If you use the multi-select option to select more than 200 messages, the action is applied to the first 200 messages, which are then removed or unselected, depending on the action taken. The rest of the messages remain selected. You apply the action to the next 200 messages and then repeat the process until no messages are selected.
