Configuring custom-authorized components
Custom-authorized components allow tenant administrators/users to configure
tenant-specific external entity security roles that describe the level of accessibility and
privilege within an authorized application.
Note: The custom-authorized components feature is relevant
only for Infor CloudSuite applications that are adopting the External Entities functionality.
Each Infor application team is responsible for providing its own External Entities user guide.
If the Infor application user guide does not include the Custom-Authorized Components feature,
this "Configuring custom-authorized components" chapter is not relevant for your
adoption.
When adding or editing a custom authorized component, you can name it as a way to categorize the security roles. Then, you select the logical ID of the authorized application and define the security roles.
You can associate the authorized component in your desired external entity in the external entity settings in the External Authorized Components and Applications tab.
An external entity and external user can have more than one custom-authorized component associated with it.
