Configuring the number of attempts

You can configure the maximum number of attempts for a user to enter the e-mail address during account registration and forgot password request.

  1. Click the Profile icon to access the user menu.
  2. Click External Entity Management The External Entities page is displayed.
  3. In the Email Settings list item, specify this information:
    Maximum number of allowed attempts
    Maximum number of attempts is 5, minimum number of attempts is 3. The default is 3.
    Note: You must configure these values for all existing external entity profiles and specific external entities.
