Using filters, sorting, and searching with the save filter
You can use filters, sort, and search options individually or combined to affect which widgets are shown in the catalog and in what order.
When a filter or search is applied, the view changes to the list view where the results are displayed. The applied active filters and search query are displayed above the list. You can remove them by clicking
after the filters or by clicking the remove icon ( ) for a single filter.This table describes the filter, sort, and search options:
Option | Description |

Search | The search field is available on the Widget Catalog
title bar. You can search for any part of a widget title, description,
or tag. To search:

Category | Click a category from the Category filter on the Widget Catalog side bar to show that category. |
Application | The Application drop-down list is used to filter based on application dependency. Click the drop-down icon, and select the application by clicking it or by pressing . The list is updated with the results. |
Owner | To filter by owner, select from these options:
Note: An administrator may create a configuration that
prevents you from using the filter. In this case,
the field is not available.

Tags | You can filter on tags by clicking an available tag
in the view or by adding the tag in the tags filter in the side bar. To add a tag, start entering the tag text in the search field in the tags section. The search field displays suggestions. Select a suggestion to add it as a filter. If the tag you are looking for is not listed among the suggestions, enter the text in the search field and click the add icon (+) next to the search field to apply it as a tag filter. |
Type | Use the Type filter to show all types of widgets, only published widgets, or only standard widgets. |
Sort | The | option controls the order in which widgets are shown. You can sort by title and show the newest or oldest widgets first. The option is available only in the list view so you must add a filter or search before you sort.
Save Filter | Saving a filter means saving all applied filters, the search query, and the sort order so that you quickly can apply them again. A saved filter is always available in the My Filters drop-down list on the title bar. The drop-down list is not displayed if you have no saved filters. |
