Using the Task Viewer context application
The Task
Viewer context application shows tasks from workflows started from an activation policy, a
document flow, or directly from an application using the Process.Workflow BOD.
If there are multiple available workflows, you can select a workflow from a drop-down. You can see all finished tasks, current tasks, and next tasks.
Tasks that follow each other in the workflow are linked by a single line. Tasks that are executed in parallel branches of the workflow are linked by a double line.
A task description contains this information:
- The distribution group or user is displayed in blue. If a task is not assigned to any user yet, Unassigned is displayed.
- The task name.
- The task status.
- The date with the time in a localized format.
The task status is indicated by a task icon and a text description.
- An unassigned task is indicated by a gray circle.
- An assigned task is indicated by a blue circle.
- A completed task is indicated by a blue circle with a check box.
- An approved task is indicated by a green circle with a check box.
- A rejected task is indicated by a red circle with an X.
In the task viewer menu, you can configure if the order of the tasks should be reversed or specify if the task viewer should be refreshed automatically or manually by using the refresh button.
