Menu
The Menu widget enables you to create and customize a menu. You can make these customizations:
- Launch links
- Enter web addresses, bookmark links, or email links
- Select an icon for a link
- Group the links
- Select the icon color for a group
- Import and export menu structures
The Menu widget uses this configuration:
Setting | Description |
---|---|
Title | The widget title. |
Show icons in list | Toggle to show or hide icons in the list. |
Convert to portable links | Use this setting to update the Logical IDs (LID) of
bookmark links so that preconfigured Menu widgets with applications
bookmarks can be imported to another environment or customer
site. When this setting is enabled, all existing links and any new links are converted to portable links. When this setting is disabled, new links are not converted to portable links, but existing links that were previously converted remain converted links. |
The Menu widget has these custom actions in the widget menu:
Action | Description |
---|---|
Add Link | Adds a link to the menu. This is the primary action for the
widget, and it is also available as a plus icon (+) in the widget title
bar. Optionally, you can add a link by copying and pasting an existing link to the widget content. |
Add Link from Bookmark | Displays the | dialog.
Add Folder | Adds a folder to the menu. You can add multiple levels
of folders, and you can reorder the folders and change the level
structure of a folder. Optionally, you can add a folder by copying and pasting an existing folder to the widget content. |
Export | Copies the JSON code of the menu structure for an existing menu widget to the clipboard. You then use | to copy the menu structure to another menu widget.
