Atlas Upload widget
The Atlas Upload widget enables you to upload objects directly into Data Lake. It is a quick and easy way to store data in Data Lake without the need to set up ION data flows to extract data from a source or to integrate with the Data Fabric Ingestion APIs.
You can add the Atlas Upload widget to your home page from the Application category in the Homepages Widget Catalog.
To use the widget, you must be assigned to the IFS DATAFABRIC-Superadmin security role.
When you select files to upload, the widget defines these data object properties on the data objects when they are stored in Data Lake:
- Object name – The object name you selected in the widget.
- Instance count – How many instances are an in each file. This value is calculated by the widget for JSON and DSV files; however, it also can be edited by you.
- Source – The full file name (must not exceed 250 characters).
The data object properties are used to filter data in Atlas or Data Lake APIs. To learn more about Data Fabric concepts please see the Infor Data Fabric User Guide.
