General Settings
Use the
option to set up automatic general settings. By default, email notifications are not enabled. Users have the option to enable or disable the different types of email notifications on their user profile page.You can set these options:

Enable email notification | This setting enables or disables the email notifications to be sent. |
Enable email for Infor Ming.le activity summary | This setting enables or disables the automatic daily activity summary to be sent. |
Fallback Language | This setting determines the fallback language for Infor Ming.le and email language. |
Only allow users to select specific languages | Use this setting to specify what languages the user can
use and see in Infor OS supported languages. When user
selects the check box, the administrator can select the language from
the Available
Language box and move it to the Displayed Language
box. Note: If this feature is enabled, the fallback language
must be a language in the Displayed Language
box.

Fallback Locale | This setting determines the fallback locale for Infor Ming.le and email locale. |
Fallback Time Zone | This setting determines the fallback time zone for Infor Ming.le and email time zone. |
Sort the user names on the directory page by | This setting determines the default option to be used to sort the users' names. |
Display prompt when the user leaves the application | This setting controls the display of the prompt that warns the user that data entered may not be saved when closing the window or leaving the application. |
Restrict Out of Office Feature | This setting removes the Out of Office feature from the User Settings page. |
Hide Search Feature | This setting enables or disables the Search bar from the portal. |
URL Redirect | This setting determines where the user is redirected upon signing out. The URL must begin with http(s):// |
Home Button | This setting determines what icon is displayed in the left of the top navigation panel: Infor logo, home icon, or your own icon that you upload. |
Home Button Navigation | This setting determines what is displayed as the user
menu on the portal bar. Infor Ming.le administrators can
choose from these options:

Navigation | This setting determines where the home button navigates to: Homepages, no link, or a link that you add. |
Try the new OS Portal | This setting enables the administrator to control the users' ability to view the shortcut to OS Portal in the Infor Ming.le toolbar. |
