Importing trusted HTTPS certificates from file

The purpose of this procedure is to add a new certificate to the set of trusted certificates for the applicable service. Adding a new certificate in addition to the ones currently presented by the service can be useful to ensure uninterrupted operations when existing certificates are about to be replaced at the external service.

  1. From Grid Management Pages, select Security > SAML.
  2. Click the page for the applicable service.
  3. In the context of the applicable service, click Manage Trusted HTTPS Certificates.
  4. Click Import from File.
  5. Select a certificate file and click Next.
  6. Review the selected certificate and click Import.
    Note: You must ensure that the new certificate is issued by an authority that is trusted by your organization. This action introduces a risk for a man-in-the-middle attack.
