Configuring HTTP ports
Each router in a grid can be configured to provide specific authentication methods for its HTTPS port. The reason for this is to allow different authentication methods via different entry points in the grid.
If SAML authentication is configured, it will override the other authentication methods. The basic and the saml2 authentication methods require corresponding SAML configuration. The basic authentication method also requires WS-Trust configuration.
It is possible that the configuration does not support any of the configured authentication methods. In this case, the user will not be able to log on.
To configure authentication methods:
- Log on to the Grid Management Pages.
- Select .
- Click a router, then click Edit and locate the WWW Authentication Methods area for the HTTPS port.
- Select the appropriate authentication methods and click Save.
