Token Authentication

The ability to authenticate users with tokens is configurable per router. Logon tokens are often used in server-to-server communications where there is no way to authenticate with a username and password.

By default, token authentication is enabled on host routers and disabled on other routers. We recommend that you disable token authentication on user-facing routers in cloud deployments.
