OneView Restore
On the OneView Restore page you can find and restore older messages, events and statistics that were moved to the OneView long-term archive storage. For details about the archiving process, see OneView Archiving.
- Select Configuration > OneView Restore.

You can specify these filters:
- Date Range
- Select the age of the old archive to restore. You can select a maximum of 31 days per one restore request. This filter is used to select the starting point of the time when the data were archived. This filter is required.
- Document Names
- Select one or more names. This filter is required if the message ID is unknown. When the message ID is provided, the document name becomes optional.
- Message ID
- Specify the message ID of the archived data. This filter is required if the document name is unknown.

Specify for how long you want to keep the archive. The restored data is
re-archived after that time.
These restore windows are available:
- 7 days
- 14 days
- You can clear all filters by clicking the Reset icon.

To initiate the restore process you must specify these values first:
- Date Range From

Specify a date from when to restore.
- Date Range To
- Specify a date to when to restore.
- Document Names OR Message ID
- Specify the name or ID.

Click Restore.
In the restore logs these statuses are used:
- in progress
- data is available
- error and expired
The message count shows the number of restored messages for the specified message id. The message count is not available when the status is "in progress". The status field is empty when the message count is “0”.
