Parameter data types
This table shows the data types:
| Data type | Description |

| String | A string with maximum length of 4000 characters. |
| Integer | A (64 bits signed) whole number |
| Decimal | Numbers that include a decimal point. The Decimal data type in Workflow corresponds to the double
data type and is a double-precision 64-bit IEEE 754 floating point.
Such numbers are shown with a maximum of 15 significant decimal digits in the user facing UI such as homepage widgets and email notifications. In ION, the actual values of the decimal numbers are shown and can be represented in exponential notation. |

| Hyperlink | A string containing a hyperlink starting with http://, https:// or ftp://. |
| User | A string containing the personid of an IFS user. Only the user who already has the MingleIONEnabled Security Role can be selected. |
| DistributionGroup | A string containing an IFS distribution group |
