Codes

User defined Codes are used in Workflow and Event Management configuration. In ION, Codes are predefined lists of "code - description" pairs.

In Event Management, you can use Codes to define comparison conditions with the predefined values.

In Workflow, you can use Codes to specify possible choice values for workflow parameters of the Code type. When these parameters are used as input parameters in tasks, they are displayed as a dropdown in Infor Ming.le.

Shared Codes

Some Codes originate from code lists that are created in another application, for example currencies and country codes from ERP LN. You can import these lists in ION if they are formatted as a Comma Separated Values (CSV) file.

Codes Page Toolbar

These actions are available as buttons in the toolbar:

Save
Refresh
Import from XML
Export to XML
Import from CSV
Export to CSV

To delete codes, select one or more codes in the Codes table and click Delete in the table actions. Click Save to confirm deletion. This removes the selected codes and all their details.

To delete one or more details, select the code in the Codes table. Then select one or more rows in the Code Details table and click Delete from the Code Details table actions. Click Save to confirm the deletion. This removes only the selected code details.
