Global user-defined functions
A global user-defined function is a system wide UDF. A UDF that is saved in a mapping
version can be declared global. This way, you can make the UDF available for other users, or
reuse it in other graphical mappings. If you use a global UDF in a function, a UDF copy of it
is created, that must be saved for the mapping version.
A Global UDF may have a description and may also show when and by whom it was updated.
