Using a script in a data flow

  1. Click Connect > Data Flows.
  2. Select the document flow where the script must be added.
  3. Drag and drop the Scripting activity into the canvas of the flow modeler.
    A Script step cannot be the first or last activity in the flow.
  4. Click the Scripting activity.
  5. On the Properties tab, specify an activity name.
  6. Optionally, specify an activity description.
  7. Select a script from the list or create a new one.
    Scripts with both draft and approved status are listed.
