Using a wait in a data flow

  1. Select Connect > Data Flows.
    A list of existing data flows is displayed.
  2. Open a data flow or create a new one.
  3. Add a wait activity to the flow.
  4. Specify a name and description.
  5. Define the Wait Duration in seconds. The value must be in the 1 to 60 seconds range.
The Wait activity is visible in ION OneView with a new event that contains information about the defined wait time. Messages in Wait can have multiple Message consumed by any connector or engine events. This is an expected result of performance optimizations. It does not mean that the message is duplicated.
