Connection points

A connection point allows ION to exchange documents with other Infor applications, databases, or external systems. It defines how data moves between integrated components.

Documents are transferred through Enterprise Connector or other ION instances by using the network connector, which manages communication between connected systems and ensures reliable data delivery.
