Stopping an alarm

Use this task to stop active alarms. Stopping an alarm is helpful when notifications or automated actions are no longer required. You might also stop an alarm temporarily while investigating or adjusting alert conditions. After stopping, the alarm will no longer evaluate documents or trigger events until it is resumed or restarted.

  1. On the Monitors & Workflows > Alarms page, select the active alarm to be stopped.
  2. Click Stop.
    The alarm stops evaluating documents and its status changes to Stopped.
