Configuring your application

After the installation has finished successfully you can configure the application.

  1. Tap the application's icon to open the mobile application.
  2. Tap Scan.
  3. For Android 6 and later only, tap Allow to authorize Infor ION Alarms to take pictures.

    The camera on your device is activated.

  4. Scan the QR code from the Desktop or Laptop.

    Your Infor Alarms mobile application is configured. The profile settings that are based on the QR code link query parameters are created. You are redirected to the Sign in screen.

    The application has adopted an additional layer of authorization limiting the scope of APIs, which the client apps can access. For more details, contact your administrator.

  5. Specify your credentials to sign in to this environment.
  6. Tap Sign in, the Request for Approval screen is displayed.
  7. Tap Allow to authorize the mobile application. After a successful sign-in, the Infor Alarms (Home) screen is displayed.

    You can scan several QR codes to switch between the different environments, for example a production and test environment, or different on-premises tenants. To switch between the environments, you must first log out from your current environment.
