Creating device in RPA Management

You can create a device directly in the RPA Management.

  1. Log in to the RPA Management application.
  2. Select Manage > Devices. The Devices page is displayed.
  3. Click Add Device.
  4. Specify this information:
    FQDN or Full Computer Name
    The Fully Qualified Domain Name (FQDN) of the computer to which you want to add the device. This name can be obtained from the System Properties section of This PC.
    Display Name
    The name of the device or the IP address of the device. This information can be copied from Configuration Manager > Mastermind Connection tab.
    Description
    Description for the device.
    Scope
    The scope for the device. Possible values:
    • Public
    • Private
  5. Click Save.
    Note: The application validates the specified information and displays an error message for any discrepancy.
  6. Click Add corresponding to the new device. The Upload Public Key form is displayed.
  7. Paste the public key you copied from Configuration Manager > Generate Public Key.

  8. Click Save.
  9. Click Copy to Clipboard corresponding to the device to copy the DeviceID.
  10. Navigate back to Configuration Manager > Mastermind Connection tab and paste the information in the Device ID field.
