Unattended installation
This section lists the system requirements for installing the RPA application in the unattended mode:
- Windows Server 2019 and above
- 16 GB RAM and above
- EC2 Instance Type: m6a.xlarge
- vCPU: 4
- Chrome or Edge web browsers
- Microsoft Office 365
- Infor RPA Recorder and Inspector web extension. Required only if RPA Studio is installed.
Additionally, you must ensure the following:
- Remote Desktop Protocol (RDP) is enabled. See, Enabling Remote Desktop Protocol on Windows server.
- At least one window user account is activated, and it is a local admin. See, Adding windows users to the RDP user group.
- RDP connection limits are configured for the RPA application to determine the available number of sessions. See, Configuring the RDP connection limit.
- RPA Agent.ionapi file is downloaded for the respective tenant. See, Downloading the credential file.
- Admin access is provided to the windows server or computer.
- Processes are added to the exception list if anti-virus terminates the process.
- Exceptions are considered in the Firewall and Proxy server settings. Firewall and Proxy Servers can prevent a robot from communicating with Mastermind or making API calls.
- Duo MFA is disabled on servers. RPA Unattended execution does not work on servers with Duo MFA. Duo MFA blocks the dedicated RPA bot user from logging on to the machine and performing any action. Disabling Duo MFA for specific robot users is recommended.
Note: Refer to the Troubleshooting section in case you
encounter an issue.
