Unattended installation

Unattended installation is recommended on virtual machines. These components are automatically installed when you select the Unattended RPA option:

  • RPA Agent

    The RPA Agent is a windows service used for establishing communication between the virtual machine and the RPA Mastermind.

  • RPA Robot Service

    The RPA Robot service communicates with an RPA agent within an RPA-managed windows session. RPA Agent provides instructions to an RPA Robot Service for starting the RPA Runtime process.

  • RPA Runtime

    The RPA Runtime process runs the RPA flows on a device.

Note: Ensure that you meet the pre-requisites required for the installing RPA in the unattended mode. See, the System Requirements for details.

You must perform these steps after installing RPA in the unattended mode:

  1. Add a user on the virtual machine where you installed the unattended mode of RPA.
  2. Launch and configure the RPA Agent using the RPA Configuration Manager.
