Generating the secret key from the portal of the Infor OS tenant (Enable MFA)

  1. Add the MFA Multi-factor Authentication (MFA) for your tenant user. See Adding a device with TOTP.
  2. In the Infor OS Portal, click the User Menu and select User Settings.
  3. Click the menu list icon to display the navigation pane, and select Security > Multi-factor Authentication (MFA)
  4. Click + Add New MFA and select TOTP.
  5. Provide the Device Name.
  6. Click Can’t scan it? and copy the secret key to your clipboard.
  7. Click Scan QR Code to show the QR code again.
  8. Scan the QR Code with the MS Authenticator App installed on your device and follow the instruction in the app.
  9. Click Next on the tenant page of your device and enter the 6-digit OTP you see in the app (the MS Authenticator App for your tenant). Click Next.
  10. Click Finish.
