Registering the MFA device with FIDO2

After FIDO2 is enabled as the multi-factor authentication (MFA) method, you must register your device the next time you sign in to Infor OS Portal.

Before you can register the MFA device with FIDO2, you must ensure that one of these prerequisites is met:

  • You use an operating system and browser that support passkey authentication. See Supported environments.
  • You have a FIDO2-compliant external authenticator to store the passkeys.
  1. Sign in to Infor OS Portal with your username and password.
    After successful authentication, you are redirected to the MFA registration page.
  2. Follow the instructions displayed in your browser or on your device to complete the passkey registration.
    After the passkey is successfully registered and validated, you are signed in to Infor OS Portal.
