Workspace Settings

In Workspace Settings, you can manage these settings:

Setting Description
Maximum Number of User Workspaces This setting determines how many workspaces a user can have. The minimum is 1, and the maximum is 30. The default is 20.
Enable Standard Workspaces This setting turns on or off standard workspaces.
  • Yes – By default, the standard workspaces are enabled.
  • No – If this option is selected, the standard workspaces are disabled.
Enable Private Workspaces This setting turns on or off the private workspaces.
  • Yes – By default, the private workspaces are enabled.
  • No – If this option is selected, the private workspaces are disabled.
Enable Private Workspaces > Add Exceptions Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Private Workspaces value.
Enable Workspace Catalog This setting turns on or off the Workspace Catalog.
  • Yes – By default, the Workspace Catalog is enabled.
  • No – If this option is selected, the Workspace Catalog is disabled.
Enable Workspace Catalog > Add exception Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Workspace Catalog value.
Workspace Default Background Color and Branding Image These settings enable an administrator to customize Workspace backgrounds for all users.
Workspace Default Background Color and Branding Image > Enable customization This setting enables the user to set backgrounds and branding for a workspace.
Workspace Default Background Color and Branding Image > Default Theme This setting shows the background with a light or dark solid background with no image.
Workspace Default Background Color and Branding Image > Background Color This setting enables an administrator to choose a color or enter a hex value.
Workspace Default Background Color and Branding Image > Background Image This setting enables an administrator to select from preset images or upload an image. There is a maximum of 10 images allowed.
Workspace Default Background Color and Branding Image > Branding Image You can add a branding image on top of the background. Use a transparent PNG or an SVG file with a maximum height of 60px. Select a light or dark logo version accordingly for best contrast against the background.
Default Workspaces Default workspaces are displayed if the user has no workspaces added to the portal. If the user already has one or more workspaces, the default workspace is not added.

By default, no workspaces are set.

Default Workspaces > Add exceptions Use this setting to make an exception for the default workspaces and create default workspaces for specific user roles.
Required Workspaces Required workspaces are automatically added and displayed to all users.
