Editing a published widget

After a widget is published to the Widget Catalog, you can no longer edit the widget in the same way as a local widget. To make changes to a published widget, you must republish the widget.

  1. Click the More icon on the widget title bar.
  2. Select Advanced > Edit Published .
  3. Modify the information, settings, translations, and permissions in the Edit Publishing Configuration dialog box. See Publishing a widget.
  4. Click Apply to close the Edit Publish Configuration dialog box.
  5. Change any settings of the published widget. If there is more than one widget on the page, the other widgets are temporarily disabled.
  6. Click Republish to republish your changes.
