Smart Panel Settings

In Smart Panel Settings, you can manage these settings:

Setting Description
Enable Smart Panel This setting allows an administrator to enable or disable the smart panel.
Note: If the smart panel is disabled, all functionality within the smart panel is not accessible for any users, including administrators, unless an exception is added.
Enable Smart Panel > Add exception Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Smart Panel value.
Enable Insight Groups in Smart Panel This setting turns on or off Insight Groups in the Smart Panel.
  • Yes – By default, Insight Groups are enabled in the Smart Panel.
  • No – If this option is selected, the Private Insight Groups are disabled in the Smart Panel.
Enable Insight Groups in Smart Panel > Add exception Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Insight Groups in Smart Panel value.
Enable Private Insight Groups in Smart Panel This setting turns on or off Private Insight Groups in the Smart Panel.
  • Yes – By default, Private Insight Groups are enabled in Smart Panel.
  • No – If this option is selected, the Private Insight Groups are disabled in Smart Panel.
Enable Private Insight Groups in Smart Panel > Add exception Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Private Insight Groups in Smart Panel value.
Enable Insight Group Catalog in Smart Panel This setting turns on or off the Insight Group Catalog in the Smart Panel.
  • Yes – By default, the Insight Group Catalog in is enabled in the Smart Panel.
  • No – If this option is selected, the Insight Group Catalog is disabled in the Smart Panel.
Enable Insight Group Catalog in Smart Panel > Add exception Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Insight Group Catalog in Smart Panel value.
Enable small size in Smart Panel This setting allows an administrator to enable the ability for the smart panel to be smaller than the standard 1x1 size. This setting is available only for specific CloudSuites. If you do not see this setting, it is currently not supported for any of your applications.
Note: The Smart Panel can be resized smaller than its default single column size; however, not all items are guaranteed to be visible at the smaller dimensions.
Smart Help > Enable Smart Help This setting allows an administrator to enable or disable Smart Help in the smart panel.
Smart Help > Enable Smart Help > Add exceptions Use this setting to make an exception for the Enable Smart Help value.
Smart Panel Channels This setting enables an administrator to control which content channels are shown in Smart Help.
