Announcements page
The Announcements page shows a listing of announcements that can be displayed in places such as the top bar widget, the regular announcements widget or the announcements banner widget.
You can use these options:
- The icon to find an announcement.
- The icon to change the sort order of listed announcements. For example, you can find announcements with the highest or lowest priority or newly created announcements based on dates.
- The Filter option to narrow down the displayed announcements. For example, you can filter out any critical, active, recurring, future or expired announcements or filter by which administrator updated them.
- The and options to export all existing announcements or to import different announcements.
In the Who can view column, you can see security roles that can access the announcement.
You can edit and preview each announcement by using respective icons. In preview mode, you can click
to adjust the display options for the announcement. You can view it as a top bar widget, banner widget or regular widget and change the size for it. Click to modify the announcement directly in preview mode.When you select one or more announcements, you can export or delete them. You can also change who sees the selected announcements by copying, applying, replacing, and clearing the permissions. The toolbar is dynamically updated to show only the actions that apply to the number and type of announcements selected.
