Overview

Security is a centralized user management platform for Infor OS applications. It creates user accounts and synchronizes data across components for consistent access control. Administrators can manage user access, group memberships, and tenant-level settings. You can also monitor activity through auditing tools.

Security, formerly known as IFS (Infor Federation Services), serves as the centralized user management platform for Infor OS applications. User accounts are initially created within Security, and then the associated user data is propagated across the various Infor OS components.

The platform supports integration through Infor APIs, SCIM services, and BODs, enabling flexible and scalable identity management. Within Security, administrators can configure user access, define group memberships, manage tenant-level security settings, and monitor system activity through robust auditing capabilities.

With the Security platform you can perform these actions:

  • Configure user identities and profiles.
  • Control access and security.
  • Group and organize the structure.
  • Federate and integrate an identity.
  • Create and customize templates.
  • Configure and administer the system.
  • Audit and monitor.
