SecurID

RSA SecurID is a multi-factor authentication (MFA) method that is widely used in enterprise environments for its reliability and strong protection against unauthorized access. During sign-in, users must specify a time-sensitive code generated by a secure token, along with standard credentials.

Admin configuration

Before you can enable SecurID as an MFA method, you must fulfill these prerequisites:

  • You have an active RSA account and valid RSA SecurID licenses for all users who will be required to authenticate with SecurID.
  • You have this information from your organization's RSA environment:
    • Client key
    • Hostname of the RSA Authentication Manager server

To enable RSA SecurID as an MFA provider, select Security Administration > Settings > General Settings > MFA Configuration.

Note: Without the required credentials and licensing, RSA SecurID cannot be activated or used within Infor OS.
