Performing offline document actions on document level

You can perform different actions on an offline document depending on whether the device is offline or online.

Offline document actions when device is offline

When the device is offline, tap the menu icon at the top right of the document Properties page to access these options:

  • Open File: Opens the file attached to the document.
  • Share: Allows to select any compatible application (for example, Gmail) to share the document. The document is then added to the queue and sent automatically once the device is back online.
  • Remove: Removes a document from the Offline Documents.

These options disappear when you tap anywhere else on the page.

Offline document actions when device is online

When the device is online, all the offline options are still available.

In addition to the options available offline, this option becomes available:

  • Export to PDF: Enables you to convert the document to a PDF and share it using any compatible application (for example, Gmail). This option is visible only when the device is connected to the internet.
