Adding a TCP/IP printer in Windows
If you are having trouble adding a printer to the print service, try these steps:
- Open the Windows Printers & Scanners screen. Then click .
- Wait for the system to search. Then click the The printer that I want isn't listed link.
- Select Add a printer using a TCP/IP address or hostname.
- Click .
- Change the Device type to TCP/IP Device. Then specify the IP address and port of your printer.
- Find the driver for the printer model in question to use and choose it.
- Follow through the additional prompts to add your printer.
Now you can return to Document Management and add the printer to the print service.
