Installation and setup

Before you can start the installation of the ETL Client, ensure that you have installed all recommended requirements. For example, the correct Java version is required and must be installed.

Installing the ETL Client:

  1. In Data Fabric, select Utilites > Downloads.
  2. Download the ETL Client to this target folder x:\Infor\IONETL
    The ETL Client is a licensed component. Therefore, the download link is only available upon license agreement.
  3. Extract the zip file, Infor_ION_ETL_%version%.zip
  4. Go to the deem_setup folder in the Infor_ION_ETL_%version% directory.
  5. Right-click the set_variables.cmd command and run it as administrator.
    The required system variables are registered. A shortcut is placed on the desktop to the DI Designer.
