Compass properties

Compass adds these properties to each record so that you can associate a record with Compass data storage.

• Compass timestamp generated property

  Generated properties are added by Compass query services. The only generated property is infor.CompassTimestamp.

  This property denotes the time in which the record was converted and stored in Compass for Data Lake queries. This timestamp changes if the Compass data is cleared and reformatted again.

• Compass Partition property

  The Partition property is the partition, or segment, of the Compass query data storage in which the record is stored. The partition column name is infor.Partition. The partition is the date in which the record landed in the DL. It is the date part of the infor.lastmodified(), which is the timestamp when the record landed in the DL.
