Viewing node details
To view the details of a node, select a node in the graph. The side panel is shown and displays this information:
- Name

The name and title of the asset associated with the node.
- Category
-
The category for the node. This is Data Object or Data Lake View.
- Type
-
The asset type as defined in Data Catalog.
- Subtype
-
The asset subtype as defined in Data Catalog.
This does not apply to Data Lake Views.
- Open in Data Catalog

A link that directs you to the object schema details page in Data Catalog.
- Properties

The properties list defined in the schema. For each property, this information is shown:
- NameThe name or title of the property. To see both the name and title of the property, pause on the property name.Note: If the property title and name are identical or if no title is defined, then only the name is displayed in the tooltip.
- Type
The JSON data type for the property.
- Indicators
Icons are displayed in this column for the properties that are used as the Identifier Path, Variation Path, Timestamp Path, and Delete Indicator.
This table shows the indicators:
Indicator Icon Description Identifier Path Indicates that the property is used as an Identifier for the object. Variation Path Indicates that the property is used to determine the variation sequence for the object. Timestamp Path Indicates that the property is used to determine the last update time for the object. Delete Indicator Indicates that the property is used as the delete indicator for the object. Archive Indicator Indicates that the property is used as the archive indicator for the object. - Name
- Publish
- For data objects, a publish column is visible. Use this column to select which properties to include by default when creating a view for your metagraph.
