Dropping a View

You can delete Views from Data Lake with a DROP View statement. Pause on a View or a View property in the left panel.

  1. Click the ellipsis menu.
  2. Select Generate > VIEW.
  3. Select DROP.
  4. Click Run Query.
    The view is dropped from Data Lake and its metadata is deleted from the Data Catalog. The left panel is refreshed and the view is no longer listed.
