Modeling a pipeline

A pipeline consists of a flow of activities that you place and connect in the pipeline modeler canvas. The first pipeline activity can be placed on the canvas by dragging the category from the bottom activity bar. When you place it on the canvas, the Activity Catalog is opened where you can select the activity you want to add.

These pipeline activities can be placed on the canvas:

• Subscription - Data Object

  Used for subscribing to incoming events for an object name from Data Catalog

• Delivery – Table

  Used for selecting the database table and the load behavior type

With these activities placed on the canvas and configured correctly, you can run the pipeline to start processing incoming events.
