Assign resources to tags

You can associate application-specific configuration, content, extension, and security to a tag. You then create a local package by selecting one or more tags.

Users must have the IDM-Administrator role to assign resources to tags.

  1. Select Document Management from Navigation menu.
  2. Select Control Center.
  3. Select Administration > Tags.
  4. All available tags are displayed. Only those marked unlocked allow for changes/edits to the resources associated in the tag.
  5. Select the Drilldown icon of the tag you want to associate a new resources to.
  6. In the selected tag drilldown, click Add.
  7. An Add Resource overlay displays with the supported resources.
  8. Select the resources you want to associate with the tag and confirm your selections by clicking Yes.
  9. An additional overlay displays with the dependencies of the selected resources. These dependencies are automatically selected. You can select or deselect any of these resources.
  10. Click Yes to add the resources and their dependencies.
Note: To delete a resource from a tag, select the check box for any resource from within the tag page and click Delete. Deleted resources repopulate in the Add Tags window.
