Turning on Detailed Request Response logging in API Gateway Monitoring

Prerequisites

Detailed Request Response Logging is generally available for Infor OS for AWS Commercial version 2024.10.

The ability to use Detailed Request Response logging is available only to users assigned to the IONAPI-Admin role.

Turning on Detailed Request Response logging

1. In Infor OS, navigate to API Gateway and click Monitoring.
2. Turn on the Enable Detailed Logging toggle and click Yes on the Enable Detailed Logging the dialog box.
3. Select the API suites that you want to monitor. Only user-created suites can be tracked:
   • Infor non-provisioned suites
   • Third Party suites
   • Non-Infor suites
   You can enable suites only after selecting the Transaction Detail check box.
4. Save the selections. API Gateway makes a call to the selected API suites and searches for the transactions on the monitoring page.

   You can filter the transactions between Basic and Detailed.

   With Detailed Logging enabled, you can use the download icon to download the transactions.
