Target timeout policy scope

You can apply the target timeout policy to various scopes within the API Gateway to manage how requests are processed and how long the Gateway waits for a response from the target server.

The policy can be applied in these scopes:

• Request flow: Apply the policy to the request as the Gateway sends calls to the target server. This setting controls how long the Gateway waits for a response during request processing.
• Proxy endpoint: Apply the policy at the proxy endpoint level to set a target timeout for a specific endpoint in an API suite.
